I was in a rear end collision and I was the one hit. When I took my car to get fixed, he already had the check made out to both of us, however when I picked up my car, the check from the insurance company was gone. I have a 92 Ford F-150, 5.o v-8, with double gas tanks. Several times it has died either while driving or won't start once you have turned it off, but after several hours it would turn on. Now it won't even turn on. When you turn the ignition to the start position without actually starting it, you can't hear the fuel pump hum. We have replaced the coil, the fuel pump relay fuse, the fuel pump in the middle and have checked all other fuses plus the inertia switch, which seems to be working. We are at our wits end. What should we check now?

I have a 1988 S10 blazer 43L which runs fine, but when you come to a stop it cuts off. After putting it in park, it starts right up and runs fine again. This is an intermitent problem. No codes and when it's running it runs fine.

Hi not sure if you can answer this but I thought I would try. I have a 91 jeep cherokee 4.0L selec trac 4wd with the bendix 9 anti lock brake system. The jeep starts and drives great but the anti lock and power assist aren't working(both lights are on as well). I have found all grounds I can find and cleaned them. I recently cleaned the plug for the accumulator switch. Now when I turn the key on the pump run for about 30 seconds but does not run when the engine is running. So I have about 15-20 power assisted stops before its back to manual powered brakes. I need to fix this as cheap as possible. Wondering if I should just switch to a vacuum booster. If that, what new parts do I need. p.s. the recall was already done and the warranty is expired (except for pump and modulator). any help would be great.

While being a passenger in a city owned transit van, my wife was involved in an accident on the interstate. The driver of this van rear ended a vehicle that had slammed on his/her brakes. The driver of the vehicle that got hit did not stop. When I contacted the transits insurance company they told me that being we are a no-fault state, the claim would have to be submitted to my insurance company first. That would mean that my premiums would go up. I guess I don't understand this. My vehicle wasn't involved, so why must I file a claim?

I am replacing driver side power window motor. I removed master switch, removed arm rest and 3 screws (2 under & 1 outside). Door panel is loose but I can not remove. It is stuck at door handle socket. My questions- how to remove the panel at inside door handle? is there any special way to open? I do not want to break it. Also how to test whether motor is not working or master switch? My front glass will not go up/down.
