My son just got his own apt and he did not have a dog, but when he was seeing the place he saw that everyone had dogs including pitbulls. So before moving in, he purchased a dog. He told the landlord he had a dog now. He was told it was so much money for a deposit and he paid it and got a receipt. After one or two months he was walking his dog with a mussel as a precaution, because people like to put out their hands to pet the new dog and he did not know what the dog would do. Well mamagement saw him and said he had a week to get rid of the dog after paying over a 1000.00 for the dog and vet bills. On the application it asks about the dog but he skipped it because he did not have a dog yet or intentions of getting one until after he saw the other dogs. He did not know what the app asked because he skipped it, but when he told them he got a dog they did not ask or explain any rules. They just took his deposit and gave him a receipt. They said sorry but you have a week. Does he have any recourse. The dog is a puppy but because he knows the rep he bought a mussel to be safe and he still has to pay and as far as the other dog owners when they get caught they will be notified as well.

I have a female chi that is in her 3rd heat. My male and female are from seperate blood lines and planned to breed them eventually. While on a potty break this a.m., they snuck behind the tree and began to breed on thier own. After being stuck together for about 10 mins they seperated. Her heat started friday of last week. Should I expect that she may be pregnant and if so what signs should I look for? Also she is due for her distemper and rabies shots is she still able to recieve these shots while pregnant?
